One Year Anniversary

Congratulations! Thanks to your efforts we have successfully completed our first year at V R Heroes Foundation.  This year has proven to be a great success and a great learning experience. Our dream of providing top quality education to deserving children around the world free of cost has taken its first step. It is the first of many years to come and below are some of the highlights from our first year.

We have opened our own day school facility and all of our children study full time  at our own school with 3 full time teachers and 2 admin staff

We have implemented the superior Oxford University Press curriculum in our school; a shift from government based curriculum

We have a 95% retention rate of students

Our young students started with zero to very minimal Urdu and zero English conversational ability (Pashto being their mother tongue) however, now all our students have excellent Urdu and basic English conversational skills

Children have shown excellent academic progress all around including the development of critical thinking skills. Students who are behind based on their age are ready to start the Oxford University curriculum level accelerated program starting from year 2

We have successfully developed and implemented the daily teacher’s monitoring and training system through video conferencing by our volunteers from Canada

Above all we have successfully instilled confidence, self respect and leadership skills through different activities including motivational guest speakers to help create community leaders of tomorrow

In terms of fund raising, we experienced numerous challenges in our first year. We request you to spread the word and recruit more donors to get our children adopted. We also request you to adopt more than one child if at all possible in the second year. The additional children can be adopted on permanent or temporary basis until we find a permanent sponsor for the child.
