Arshid Khan

Arshid Khan is 10 years old. Arshad wants to become an engineer when he grows up. Arshad is an IDP refugee (Internally Displaced Person) and originally hails from Waziristan from where his family had to migrate due to war. Arshid’s father Mr. Faisal Wazir Khan has a temporary job of a mechanic. Arshid has 5 siblings and his father Mr Khan is unable to pay for Arshid’s education due to financial hardship.

Arshid Khan is a student of grade 3. Arshad is currently behind his age group due to not being able to attend school for a number of years due to war. In spite of that Arshid has shown tremendous improvement. He passed all his courses in the recently held term examination at school and has shown improvement in learning Urdu and English languages. Arshid will be put in an accelerated program to bring him up to speed with his age group in the near future.
