Amer Khan

Amer Khan is 10 years old. Amer wants to become a teacher when he grows up. His favourite subject is Pashto language. Amer is an IDP refugee (Internally Displaced Person) and originally hails from Waziristan, from where his family had to migrate due to war. Amer has 4 siblings and his father Mr.Farooq Khan is deceased. Amer’s mother is unable to provide education to him due to financial hardship.

Amer is a student of class 1 and has shown very good progress so far. As a result of not being able to go to school during the war, Amer is a little behind as compared to his age group in terms of the class he is studying in. However has proved to be a very bright student and will be put in the accelerated program in the near future.
