At V R Heroes our aim is to have maximum impact with the minimal resources that we have at our disposal. Peshawar, Pakistan was chosen as the first field operation site for several reasons. One of the biggest reasons was the importance of the region and especially its youth for the future of the world as a whole. The inter-connected nature of our world today means that it is imperative for us as global citizens to be proactive in solving problems around the world that could directly or indirectly effect us in the future. Pakistan has been at the forefront of the war on terror. It has lost thousands of people in the war and has incurred massive economic losses. Peshawar is the biggest metropolitan city bordering Afghanistan and the tribal belt of Pakistan. A massive number of war affectees have flocked the city from both Pakistan and Afghanistan. Massive poverty exists in the city. A number of people are unable to attain basic necessities of life and a huge number of children are unable to attain education. We believe that Peshawar needs heroes and future leaders who could help their communities in Pakistan and Afghanistan rehabilitate both economically and politically. We believe that the heroes in Peshawar can have a massive impact on the region and the world as a whole. They can provide leadership not only to their communities but can provide inspiration and leadership all around the world.

We hope to learn from our experience in Peshawar and expand the network around the world in the near future.
