How much does it cost to sponsor a hero?

It costs $30.00 per month to sponsor one hero.

 

Do the donations cover more than the basic tuition fee?

YES. The donations cover the cost of tuition fee, books, supplies, uniforms and after-school program where heroes get further individual training and support

 

How long do I sponsor a hero for?

You can sponsor a hero for as long as you want. In case of an event where you would like to withdraw your sponsorship we request a 2-3 months advance notice to enable us to find an alternate sponsor for your hero.

 

Where are you located?

Our head office is located in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. Our current field operations are in Peshawar, Pakistan.

 

Are you registered with the government?

YES. We are a federally registered Canadian Not for Profit organization.

 

Can I contact my Hero?

YES. You can contact your Hero through e-mail, phone or skype

 

How much of the $30.00 monthly donation goes into administration fees?

In Canada 0% of the $30.00 goes into administration fees. All the donations go to our field operation, currently in Peshawar, Pakistan. All our current directors and executives are unpaid volunteers and we have zero office expenses in Canada. In order to organize events in Canada we would be conducting separate fundraising

 

Can I view your financial statements?

YES. All members can have regular access to our financial statements

 

Can I choose my Hero?

YES. You can choose your Hero from a list of potential heroes that we enlist on our website

 

Can I donate non-financial items?

YES you can donate some selected non-financial items such as laptops e.t.c. Please inquire with us if you wish to donate

 

Do you conduct events in Canada?

YES. We would be conducting regular events in Canada. Please keep checking our website and facebook/twitter feeds

    there is one confusion though.. do u mean canadian dollars or american?

    Hi Sehrish .. It is in Canadian Dollars, however US and Canadian dollars are valued almost the same these days anyway.
